Pikuniku is a… game best discovered for yourself. Partly because that’s genuinely true, but also because it’s a little hard to describe. Sure, I can tell you it’s a sort of platformer with puzzles and bosses, and there’s a lot of kicking things, but that’s not really describing the game. No, the game is unusual. Level 75 now! Played for about two and a half hours today, mainly breeding Mallowolfs and Parrybos (which finally made it into my garden, helped along by one I was sent). I tamed a Bonboon too, and set about breeding Jameleons. I’ve already Master Romanced them, but I need three for each Bonboon to romance. I built a mine, and along with all the gems, seeds and other assorted things the Diggerling dug up, I also got a Dragonache egg! …
Fishing, collecting shells, digging up fossils, talking to animals. That’s pretty much all you do in Animal Crossing. Every day. And it is BEST. Today, I planted some more trees with the fruit I’d gained from other towns, and dug up a Tall Gongaloid, or something with an equally stupid name. Didn’t earn much in the way of Bells (AC‘s currency), so I didn’t knock much off my mortgage.
